Saida Mirziyoyeva and the Emir of Qatar discussed promising projects
The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, held a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. One of the key topics of the talks was the prospects for further cooperation between the two countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Presidential Administration conveyed greetings and best wishes to the Emir from the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. She emphasized that relations between Tashkent and Doha are warm and trusting in nature and have been consistently strengthening in recent years.
The parties paid special attention to how to further develop the already established partnership. In particular, they discussed new joint initiatives and promising projects that could become the next stage of Uzbek-Qatari cooperation.
The talks took place against the backdrop of intensifying contacts between the two countries. In July, Uzbekistan and Qatar agreed to accelerate the implementation of trade, economic, and investment projects, as well as to more actively develop cooperation in energy, logistics, tourism, and other areas.
