Opta has analysed the strength of the teams' opponents in the 2026/27 Champions League group stage and identified the clubs with the toughest fixtures.
According to the analysis, Azerbaijani club Sabah has the toughest fixture list. Their opponents are rated an average of 92.2 points in the Opta Power Rankings.
Manchester City (91.7 points) are also among the teams with the toughest fixtures.
On the other hand, German club Stuttgart has the most favourable fixture list, with their opponents rated an average of 88.9 points in the Opta Power Rankings.
Opta calculated these figures based on the average score of the teams in the Power Rankings. That is, the higher the score, the stronger the club's opponents in the league stage.
For your information, Umarali Rakhmonaliyev, a midfielder for the Uzbek national team, plays for the Azerbaijani club Sabah. The team is participating in the Champions League for the first time. According to the results of the draw, the Owls will compete in the group stage with such strong teams as Arsenal, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Napoli.
