Russia remains a key trade partner for Uzbek goods.

According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan's total export volume reached $15.9 billion from January to June 2026. Of this amount, approximately $2.4 billion, or about 15% of the total, went to the Russian Federation.

The top ten destinations for Uzbek exports include the following countries:

* Russia — $2.4 billion;

* China — $1.4 billion;

* Afghanistan — $961.5 million;

* Kazakhstan — $717 million;

* France — $707.2 million;

* Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of China) — $543.1 million;

* Turkey — $516.2 million;

* Kyrgyzstan — $452.7 million;

* UAE — $353.4 million;

* Tajikistan — $333.3 million.

The combined export volume to these ten countries accounted for 52.8% of Uzbekistan's total export volume.

Thus, Russia confidently leads as the main consumer of Uzbek products. Exports to the Russian market are almost 1.7 times greater than exports to China, which ranks second.

However, despite significant demand and the vastness of the Russian market, further growth of Uzbek exports will be largely determined by the purchasing power of Russian consumers and businesses. As is well known, demand is a key factor in attracting investment and ensuring growth.
