Ronaldo named the best Ballon d'Or winner in history

France Football magazine announced the winner of a new special award — the "Ballon d'Or of All Time". In this category, the winner was chosen by users rather than journalists. To get the right to participate, one had to pay one euro.

The award went to Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. His 2008 Ballon d'Or was recognized as the most legendary. He gained 75% of the votes. Second place was taken by Argentine Lionel Messi with his 2012 Ballon d'Or.

Note that they occupy the first 12 places, while Brazilian Ronaldo appears in thirteenth position with his 2002 award.

To participate in the voting, footballers were selected who had won the Ballon d'Or at least twice in their career.
