Residents of one district of Tashkent will be temporarily left without gas.

Here's the rewritten text:

On Sunday, August 20, residents of part of Tashkent's Yangiakhet district will experience a temporary natural gas outage. Natural gas supplies will be suspended for 165 private households and three large consumers.

The restrictions will be in effect from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the Chortok mahalla, specifically on Chortok-ok Street. The outage was caused by scheduled maintenance work on the medium-pressure above-ground gas pipeline.

Once all necessary work is completed, gas supplies will be resumed in stages, with mandatory compliance with all safety regulations.

As a reminder, it was previously announced that the mandatory advance payment for electricity and natural gas will be reduced for Uzbek businesses that pay their energy bills on time. The advance payment will be reduced from 100% to 15%. This support measure applies to companies using automated metering systems (ASKUP and ASKUG).
