Railway freight services will be digitized

From October 1, 2026, Uzbekistan will begin to issue orders for domestic rail freight transportation electronically through State Service Centers and the Unified Interactive State Services Portal. The new procedure will be implemented on the basis of administrative regulations approved by Resolution No. 433 of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Railway freight services will be digitized

In Uzbekistan, the process of placing orders for domestic freight transportation by rail will be fully digitalized. This is reflected in the administrative regulation on the public service “Acceptance of orders for domestic freight transportation by rail”, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 433 dated August 5, 2026.

According to the new regulation, starting from October 1, 2026, entrepreneurs and other interested parties will have the opportunity to place orders for freight transportation electronically through State Service Centers or the Unified Interactive State Services Portal.

The main goal of this resolution is to simplify public service, increase its transparency and efficiency, as well as fully digitize the process of freight transportation by rail. The new regulation clearly defines the procedure for providing services, mechanisms for receiving and considering applications.
