Pulat Bobojonov has left the post of Deputy Advisor to the President on Personnel Issues

By presidential decree, Pulat Bobojonov has been relieved of his post as Deputy Advisor to the President on Personnel Issues. It is reported that he has transferred to another job.

Pulat Bobojonov was born on January 1, 1961, in the Khorezm region. In 1982, he graduated from Tashkent State University, after which he began working in the prosecutor's office of the Khorezm region.

From 1992 to 1999, he held the positions of First Deputy Khokim of the Bagat District and Deputy Khokim of the Khorezm region. In 1999, he moved to a position in the Presidential Administration.

From 2000 to 2011, he worked in senior positions within the prosecutor's office, including as Deputy Prosecutor General, Head of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office, and as Prosecutor of the Jizzakh and Bukhara regions.

In 2011, he was appointed First Deputy Khokim of the Khorezm region, and in 2012, he became the Khokim of the region.

Since September 2017, Pulat Bobojonov had served as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. In March 2025, he was appointed Deputy Advisor to the President on Personnel Issues.

Bobojonov was succeeded as Minister of Internal Affairs by Aziz Toshpulatov, who previously headed the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent.
