Power will be cut off in one district of Tashkent tonight.

On the night of August 12, residents of several mahallas in Tashkent's Bektemir district will experience temporary power outages. According to Podrobno.uz, this is due to scheduled work to connect a new substation to existing power lines.
From midnight to 6 a.m., crews will carry out the necessary work, which will require the simultaneous shutdown of the Bektemir-1 and Bektemir-2 lines. As a result, the mahallas of Kh. Boykaro, Abay, Bektemir, Ustozlar, Oltintopgan, Sohil, and Chashma will be without power.
After the technical work is completed, power to the affected areas will be restored in stages until full service is restored. The energy service apologized to residents for the temporary inconvenience.
