Post Office suspends sending goods to the EU
It follows a delay in updates to processing systems to allow for changes to EU customs rules.

**Post Office suspends sending goods to the EU**
The suspension does not affect the sending of documents.
The Isle of Man Post Office has stopped accepting goods for delivery to European Union countries until further notice.
It said third-party systems used to process international parcels were being updated ahead of changes to EU customs requirements, but were not yet ready.
Documents can still be sent to EU addresses, and goods can still be posted to the rest of the world, including the USA.
The Post Office said it had been preparing for the changes, but "an unexpected change in approach by one of our UK partners" meant further work was needed.
The suspension covers goods sent from Post Office counters and through its online postage, click & dispatch and franking services.
The Post Office said it was working with its suppliers to fix the problem and would give a further update when a solution was available.
Asked when the service would resume, the Post Office said it would be "as soon as possible but we are dependent on one of our UK partners for that".
It thanked customers "for your patience while we work to restore EU goods services".
