Uzbekistan has officially joined the list of countries where the popular mobile game Pokémon Go is now accessible, according to an announcement on the game's official website.

This expansion follows its official rollout in several other nations, including Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. Users can acquire the application without charge from both Google Play and iTunes, though it does offer optional in-app purchases.

Pokémon Go operates as a complimentary, location-based augmented reality experience. Within the game, participants leverage their mobile device's GPS capabilities to pinpoint, capture, engage in battles with, and train virtual entities known as Pokémon. These creatures are displayed on the screen, appearing as if they occupy the player's actual physical surroundings. The game has been recognized for its role in boosting the popularity of location-based and augmented reality gaming, encouraging physical activity, and fostering growth for local enterprises. However, it has also faced criticism and generated controversy due to its association with various accidents and its tendency to become a public disturbance in certain areas.
