About 250 employees from six organizations participated in the large-scale simulation exercise aimed at conducting search and rescue operations for the plane.

Simulation exercises on a plane crash were held near Tashkent.
On August 7, at the initiative of Tashkent International Airport, a large-scale interdepartmental training exercise was held in the Orta Chirchik district of Tashkent region to support flight search and rescue activities. The airport press service reported this.
According to the training scenario, when a passenger plane flying on the Istanbul-Tashkent route approaches landing, communication between the air traffic controller and the crew is lost. As a result, the aircraft crashes before reaching Tashkent.
In order to find this plane and begin rescue operations, the dispatchers immediately transmit information about the emergency situation to the airport's ground search and rescue team and notify other partner services. After that, search and rescue operations begin.
About 250 specialists and 25 special equipment from interdepartmental structures were involved in eliminating the consequences of the simulated emergency. As part of the exercises organized in cooperation with the Ministries of Emergency Situations, Defense, Health, Internal Affairs, the National Guard and Tashkent International Airport, rescuers worked on the training of their teams, coordination of fire extinguishing, evacuation of people, distribution of victims according to the severity of their injuries, provision of first aid and transportation of the injured to medical institutions, as well as evacuation of dangerous cargo on board the aircraft.
It is noted that in addition to exercises on the territory of the airport, Tashkent International Airport LLC also conducts such complex training events outside the airports several times a year.
The main goal is to ensure cooperation between a number of ministries and departments, as well as units of Tashkent Airport in the event of an air accident, to take necessary measures to eliminate the consequences of an air accident, and to increase the readiness of employees for emergency situations.
Recommendations were developed to strengthen cooperation between departments and departments based on the training exercise. The readiness of the forces and means of Tashkent Airport and relevant departments was highly appreciated, and it was recognized that they are fully prepared to take rapid measures in the event of an emergency.
