Pixar announces Coco 2 will be released in 2029

Pixar has announced that Coco 2 will be released in 2029.
At D23, Disney revealed new concept art for the film, which shows an adult Miguel with his loyal dog Dante. The company also confirmed that the Pixar sequel will be released in November 2029, and that Benjamin Brett will return to play Ernesto de la Cruz.
Lee Unkrich, the director of the original Coco, is returning to work on the project with Adrian Molina. Mark Nielsen, known for Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2, is producing.
The first Coco film was released in theaters in 2017 and was a huge success with critics and audiences. It has grossed over $800 million worldwide and won two Academy Awards: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the song "Remember Me."
"Coco 2" is the next sequel from Pixar, and the creators hope to build on the studio's greatest success in decades. The studio's recent releases include "Toy Story 5" and "Inception 2," which grossed over $1 billion worldwide. The studio's next sequel, "The Incredibles 3," is scheduled for release in 2028.
