Astana police said a foreigner who questioned the territorial integrity of Kazakhstan and the statehood of its cities, as well as making derogatory stereotypes about Kazakh citizens, culture, and traditions, was deported.
Police found provocative comments while monitoring his social media accounts. An administrative case was opened against him, he was fined, deported, and banned from entering Kazakhstan for five years.
The police did not specify what statements the foreigner made that led to the administrative case. According to Azattyq Asia, he said that people in the center of Astana "should live in wigwams and ride horses." In another broadcast, he called Kazakhs "shitty" because they did not know Russian.
According to RIA Novosti, the streamer in question is Ksenia Guzayeva (Fasoollka). In her streams, she calls Astana a "village" and says "Pavlodar is ours." "It sounds like ours, it can't be Kazakhstan. So why not Pavlodar?" she said.
