Pakhtakor’s gamble: up to 3 million soums to watch Al Nassr, and perhaps Ronaldo
Pakhtakor, a club that cannot fill its stadium for other matches even when tickets are handed out for free, has increased ticket prices for a game against Al Nassr, while Ronaldo’s appearance remains uncertain.
As of this afternoon, tickets priced below 300,000 soums are no longer available, and tickets for the VIP sections have still not been put on open sale.
But what if Ronaldo does not travel to Uzbekistan? That would not be the first time. Ronaldo has previously missed Al Nassr’s away trips to some countries. He was left out of the squad that went to India for the AFC Champions League 2 match against FC Goa, and he is reportedly covered by a contract clause allowing him to decide which matches outside Saudi Arabia he plays.
