Orange haze from Canada wildfires seen in Ontario and northern US

Smoke and the distinctive orange atmospheric haze, generated by hundreds of active wildfires burning in Canada, have drifted across Ontario and extended into northern US states.
According to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre, there are currently 838 wildfires actively burning throughout the country.
Officials have stated that the severity of the smoke is not anticipated to reach the levels seen in 2023, when smoke from Quebec wildfires blanketed the US East Coast.
