On the initiative of O‘zLiDeP, new entrepreneurs are being identified in the most remote mahallas
In Khorezm, the regional republic stage of the "Businesswoman" contest was held within the framework of the "Together with the People" nationwide program. Organized on the initiative of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, this contest covered more than 500 mahallas and business entities of the region.
More than 3,054 female entrepreneurs participated in the qualifying stages. Among them, 13 of the most promising businesswomen demonstrated their business projects and activities at the regional stage.
An important aspect of the contest was that special attention was paid to searching for entrepreneurs not only from large cities, but also from mahallas. Women who are creating new jobs, producing local products, exporting, or applying new approaches in agriculture were identified during the selection process.
At the regional stage, Lola Mirzayeva, head of "Khiva Plaza" LLC in the city of Khiva, took first place. The enterprise employs 150 people. Second place went to Oychehra Tohirova, head of the "Shovot-Qumtepa" farm. Medicinal herbs are grown on the farm.
Third place was won by Dilafruz Bekjanova, head of "Marjona tekstil" LLC. The enterprise provides 70 women with permanent employment. In 2025, the enterprise exported $200,000 worth of children's clothing to Russia.
The 3,054 participants in Khorezm demonstrate how vast the entrepreneurial potential is in the mahallas.
