Official announcement: Diyor Imamkho'jaev elected as PFL head for another 4-year term
Diyor Imamkho'jaev has been re-elected as the General Director of the Professional Football League of Uzbekistan (PFL) for another four-year term.
Earlier, on August 17, it was reported that a proposal signed by the President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan Bahodir Kurbonov had been sent to the League Executive Committee, in which Diyor Imamkho'jaev was nominated as a candidate for the position of General Director.
On August 19, eight members of the League Executive Committee discussed this issue. All members fully participated in the meeting. In particular, Odil Ahmedov, as well as Alisher Yusupov from Kuala Lumpur and Elbek Samatov from Andijan, voted remotely.
At the end of the meeting, all members of the Executive Committee unanimously approved the candidacy of Diyor Imamkhojayev as the General Director for the next term of office. Thus, the incumbent will continue to perform his duties for the next four years, starting from August 19, 2026.
For information, Diyor Imamkhojayev has been acting as the General Director of the PFL since 2020, and in 2022, on the recommendation of the President of the Association, he was officially approved as the General Director.
