No Uzbek citizens were injured in the earthquake in Indonesia, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

There were no Uzbek casualties following the earthquake in Indonesia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

Uzbekistan expressed condolences over the loss of life caused by the powerful earthquake in the Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara. According to preliminary information, no Uzbek citizens were among the dead or injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan responded with deep sorrow to the news of the victims of the natural disaster. Condolences were expressed to the families and friends of the deceased, and the injured were wished a speedy recovery.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Indonesia continues to closely monitor the situation and is in contact with local authorities. At the time of publication, no Uzbek citizens were reported injured.

As a reminder, a strong 7.7-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia killed 20 people. Six people were injured, two remain trapped under rubble, and about 2,000 residents of the Nageo district, located closest to the epicenter, were evacuated due to the threat of a tsunami and destruction.
