The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has announced new official exchange rates for foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum, effective August 24:

* US Dollar: 11,853.55 Uzbek soum (+6.39)

* Euro: 13,869.84 Uzbek soum (+26.43)

* British Pound: 16,189.58 Uzbek soum (+39.53)

* Russian Ruble: 141.86 Uzbek soum (+0.42)
