New criteria for selecting teachers have been introduced for some schools
The procedure for selecting teachers recruited from other regions to schools with a lower educational level in Uzbekistan has been updated. Now, if two or more candidates apply for one vacant hour, they will be interviewed based on a 100-point system.

New criteria have been introduced into the teacher selection process in some schools.
Amendments and additions have been made to the Regulation on the procedure for attracting teachers from other regions to schools with a low level of education, approved by Resolution No. 646 of the Cabinet of Ministers of October 15, 2021.
According to the new regulation, in cases where there are two or more candidates for vacant positions, teachers will be interviewed on their professional knowledge and skills, pedagogical skills, and psychological abilities.
The interview will be organized on a 100-point system. In this case, 40 points are awarded for the candidate's professional knowledge and skills, 30 points for pedagogical skills, and 30 points for psychological abilities.
Each candidate will be evaluated separately by members of the working group. The final result is calculated based on the arithmetic average of the points given by the group members.
Based on the results of the interview, the candidate with the highest score will be selected as a teacher for the relevant vacancy.
If two or more candidates score the same number of points, their current qualification level, teaching experience, as well as the presence and level of relevant national or international certificates will be taken into account.
It was also allowed to conduct the selection process for teachers online.
