Nasaf Football Club has announced its AFC Champions League 2 opponents.

Karshi-based Nasaf Football Club has determined its opponents in the 2026/27 AFC Champions League. Following the draw held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Uzbek club was placed in an all-Arab group.

Nasaf's opponents will be Al-Wahda of the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait's Kuwait SC, and Bahrain's Al-Khaldiya. These teams were determined in a draw organized by the Asian Football Confederation.

Nasaf qualified for this tournament thanks to its third-place finish in the Uzbekistan Super League in the 2025 season. Since Pakhtakor, the runners-up and winners of the AFC Cup, were entered into the AFC Elite Champions League qualifiers, the AFC Champions League 2 berth was awarded to the next team in the league.

The AFC Champions League 2 is the second-most prestigious club competition in Asia, behind only the AFC Elite Champions League. In the group stage, 32 teams are divided into eight groups. Each team will play home-and-away matches against all their group opponents, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Round of 16. The first round is scheduled to begin on September 15.

This tournament is of particular significance for Nasaf, as in 2011, the Karshi club won the AFC Cup, the predecessor of the current AFC Champions League 2. At that time, Nasaf became the first Uzbek club to win the continental trophy.

It was previously reported that Nasaf head coach Ruzikul Berdiev was among the top three most loyal coaches in the world.
