Mourinho: "Real Madrid has no weak points"

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho spoke about the current state of the team and the purchases made in the summer transfer window. The expert noted that the club acted completely calmly, without giving in to emotions when forming the squad.

"Real" is a very strong and talented team. There is no weak point in our squad. This is a balanced team in all respects. We did not give in to external pressure or emotions that could interfere with our decisions when forming it. On the contrary, we acted based on deep analysis and mutual agreement," said the Portuguese expert.

Mourinho said that there was complete cooperation between the coaching staff and the management in forming the squad:

"We did not take a political approach to transfers. On one side were me and my technical analysis staff, and on the other side were the club president, José Ángel Sánchez and Juni Calafat. Although their views were slightly different from ours, our ideas complemented each other. The result was a very good squad. The number of players was also optimal - a player who is on the bench today is very aware that he can be in the starting line-up tomorrow."

The coach added that the current Real Madrid squad is not a large team, but rather that there are two suitable candidates for each position for the model of play he considers ideal:

"Sometimes you are happy with the team's potential, but you do not enjoy the daily training. But now, after six weeks of work, I have only positive impressions of the guys."
