Moscow theatre "Russian Ballet" will present "Swan Lake" in Tashkent

Moscow Theater "Russian Ballet" to present "Swan Lake" in Tashkent

On December 26, the Moscow Academic Theater "Russian Ballet" named after Vyacheslav Gordeev will perform on the stage of the Palace of International Forums "Uzbekistan" (Friendship of Peoples) in Tashkent. The audience will be presented with the ballet "Swan Lake" set to the music of Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The production was directed by Vyacheslav Gordeev, People's Artist of the USSR and former principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre. The performance preserves the classical choreography of Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov, and Alexander Gorsky.

"Swan Lake" tells the story of Princess Odette, who was turned into a swan, and Prince Siegfried, who fights for his love.

The Vyacheslav Gordeev Moscow Academic Theater "Russian Ballet" was established 45 years ago.
