In 8 months, the volume of transport services in Uzbekistan amounted to 141.7 trillion soums, increasing by 15.9 percent in a year

More than half of transport services were accounted for by road transport

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2026, transport services worth 141.7 trillion soums were provided in the country. This figure is 15.9 percent higher compared to the same period of 2025.

The largest share in the total volume was accounted for by road transport — 52.1 percent.

The share of auxiliary transport activities amounted to 15.4 percent, while the share of air transport stood at 15.1 percent.

Rail transport accounted for 9.5 percent, and pipeline transport accounted for 7.9 percent.
