The biggest group of beneficiaries was young people aged 18–23, with 33,317 receiving reimbursements. Another 25,112 beneficiaries were aged 14–17. In total, those aged 14–23 made up 79% of all recipients.

The program was used by 38,503 girls and 35,599 boys.

IELTS accounted for the highest number of reimbursements, with 54,048 young people receiving a total of UZS 125 billion to cover their exam fees. Another 9,082 young people had their SAT costs reimbursed.

The compensation program also applies to international exams such as TOPIK for Korean, HSK for Chinese, and TestDaF and Goethe-Zertifikat for German.

In 2025, the exam expenses of 17,261 young people were covered. The government intends to raise that number to 25,850 by the end of 2026.

Sadullayev said that under a presidential decision, young people permanently living in 12 designated areas can receive reimbursement for an IELTS exam if they score at least 6, or for a TOEFL exam if they score 60 or above.

In northern Karakalpakstan, an IELTS score of 6 is enough to qualify for reimbursement.
