Moment US Navy jet stuns packed Florida beach with low flypast

A US Navy Blue Angels jet sent some beach items up in the air as it flew at a low altitude over a crowd in Pensacola Beach, Florida.

A US Navy Blue Angels jet performed a strikingly low flypast over a crowded Pensacola Beach, Florida, during an air show on Wednesday, an event widely captured by beachgoers.

Video footage shared across social media platforms showed the jet's close maneuver, which sent beach umbrellas and other items airborne, even as onlookers cheered.

In response, officials from the elite Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron stated they are conducting a review. This action follows "an aircraft flew lower than standard profiles, resulting in a disturbance on the beach that affected civilian chairs and umbrellas," according to US media reports.

No injuries were reported from the incident, with one beachgoer telling US media that it was an "amazing" experience.
