Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is currently leading a video conference meeting dedicated to the priority tasks within the fuel and energy sector.
In his opening remarks, the head of state acknowledged the significant reforms undertaken in the energy sector over the past decade. He stated that new laws and decisions have created an environment favorable for expanding private sector participation and drawing in foreign investors.
The President emphasized his direct involvement, noting that he has personally engaged with investors multiple times to review their proposals. For each major project, he highlighted, the state established the necessary conditions and provided appropriate guarantees.
