Manchester City make the most expensive transfer in club history

Manchester City have completed the most expensive transfer in their history.

The transfer of Brazilian player Savinho to London club Tottenham has been officially confirmed. The deal is of historic importance for the "city", as Savinho became the most expensive player in the club's history.

Savinho's transfer value was 87.7 million euros. As a result, he became the most expensive player in the history of "City", surpassing Julian Álvarez, who was sold for 75 million euros in 2024. The top three was completed by Thejan Reynders, who moved to Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadisiya for 61 million euros.
