Man dies after crash in County Donegal
The collision, involving a car and a 4x4 vehicle, happened in Fincashel, in Pettigo, at about 14:45 BST.
A man in his twenties has passed away following a road traffic accident in County Donegal.
The individual was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision, which occurred in Fincashel, Pettigo, around 2:45 PM BST. The incident involved a car and a 4x4 vehicle.
A woman, also in her twenties, who was a passenger in the car, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The deceased man's body was taken to University Hospital Letterkenny.
The driver of the second vehicle, a man in his sixties, was also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The road remains closed, with traffic diversions currently in effect.
An appeal has been issued by An Garda Síochána for any witnesses to the crash or individuals possessing dashcam footage to come forward and contact them.
