A man was reportedly assaulted at his ex-wife's residence in Tashkent's Sergeli district while there to visit his children, according to the Tashkent City Police Department.
A video circulating on social media, which depicted several individuals assaulting a man, reportedly generated considerable online discussion.
Authorities stated that on August 9, B.R., 35, arrived at the Sergeli district home of his former wife, D.K., 29, to see their children. During the visit, a dispute escalated with members of her family. Consequently, M.K., 61, and E.K., 34, allegedly physically assaulted B.R., resulting in bodily injuries.
The Sergeli District Police Department's Inquiry and Fast-Track Investigation Division is presently conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the event. Officials indicated that a legal determination would be made upon the conclusion of the inquiry.
