LLCs account for 80% of Uzbekistan’s commercial organisations
Uzbekistan had 445,700 active commercial organisations as of Aug. 1, 2026, of which 356,812, or 80.1%, were limited liability companies (LLCs), according to the National Committee on Statistics.

Limited liability companies make up 80% of Uzbekistan’s commercial organisations.
Private enterprises numbered 47,241 organisations, or 10.6% of the total, while family enterprises stood at 37,345, or 8.4%.
The country also had 646 joint-stock companies, representing 0.1% of all commercial organisations, and 3,653 organisations, or 0.8%, classified under other legal forms.
