"Lightning McQueen" appeared on the Formula-1 track

"Lightning McQueen" was spotted on the Formula 1 track
A replica of the character "Lightning McQueen" from the cartoon "Cars" was demonstrated at the Formula 1 Grand Prix held in Monza, Italy. It completed an honorary lap on the racetrack.
Additionally, the official safety car — the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO — was decorated with special livery in the style of the "Cars" cartoon. It became the first car equipped with a fully controllable all-wheel-drive system.
This demonstration was organized as part of a collaboration between Formula 1, Disney, and Pixar. The event was one of the key parts of the celebration dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the "Cars" franchise.
The Italian Grand Prix was held on September 6. After 12 races, Mercedes team representative Andrea Kimi Antonelli leads the standings. However, due to an engine change, he started the race from the last position.
The cartoon "Cars", produced by Pixar studio for the Walt Disney Company, was released in 2006.
