Law enforcement officers found a stash of 2 kilograms of hashish in a field in Andijan.

In the Andijan region, law enforcement officers discovered a stash containing nearly 2 kilograms of hashish.

An attempted drug trafficking operation was successfully foiled in the Markhamat district of the Andijan region. During a joint operation conducted by officers from the State Security Service (SSS), customs authorities, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), 1 kilogram 986 grams of hashish was seized.

According to information provided by the agency, drug couriers had previously hidden the specified amount of hashish in a stash located in a field. The man was detained while receiving the hidden drug shipment through a relative.

This operation was conducted as part of the "Safe and Healthy Country" initiative. A criminal case has been opened, and investigative actions are currently underway.

It was previously reported that law enforcement officers in the Fergana region detained a man transporting a large amount of hashish and other potent drugs. These narcotics were intended for subsequent sale in Tashkent.
