Last weekend, the venue of the National Cynological Center of the Customs Committee became a focal point for professional breeders and animal lovers. A major cynological celebration took place here — "Dog festival. Autumn — 2026", organized jointly with the Alfa Dog cynological center.
The festival program included the following key events:
- National Dog Show "Anor — 2026" (CAC rank);
- Specialty show for German Shepherds "Club Cup. Autumn 2026" (standard and long-haired varieties);
- Specialized show for hunting breeds "Hunting Dog Speciality";
- "Champions Show" exhibition-competition.
The "Hunting Dog Speciality" section attracted particular attention from experts and spectators. Representatives of 12 breeds competed at the venue, including Labradors and Golden Retrievers, Afghan Hounds and Salukis, Jack Russell Terriers, German Wirehaired Pointers, Hungarian Vizslas, Weimaraners, Beagles, Jagdterriers, as well as Russian and English Springer Spaniels.
The panel of judges evaluated not only flawless conformation and compliance with international standards, but also the training, temperament, and working condition of the four-legged participants. The winners of the shows were awarded honorary cups.
The event went beyond an exclusively professional competition and turned into a city family holiday. Guests received a rare opportunity to get acquainted with rare breeds, as well as consult with leading dog trainers on care and training rules.
