La Liga: Real Madrid start the season with a tough win

The match between Espanyol and Real Madrid ended in a difficult match in the second round of the Spanish La Liga. The Royal Club won 2-1 in this match at the Cornella el Prat stadium in Barcelona.

In the 9th minute of the match, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham opened the scoring after a pass from Arda Guler. In the 30th minute, Espanyol midfielder Alex Calatrava restored the balance.

In the 90th minute of the match, the visiting team midfielder Carlos Espi scored the winning goal for Real Madrid, making the final score 2-1.

Thus, the Madrid team won a difficult victory in the first official match under the leadership of Jose Mourinho.

The match between the "creamy" and "Real Sociedad" in the first round of La Liga was postponed to August 26. In the first match of the new Spanish championship season, "Espanyol" defeated "Levante" 3-0.

In the next round, "Espanyol" will face "Real Sociedad" on August 29, and "Real" will face "Malaga" on August 30.
