President Sadyr Japarov attended the launch ceremony of Kyrgyzstan's first national satellite as part of his working visit to the United States of America.

It is reported that the launch was carried out from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California using a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

The satellite was launched as part of a group of spacecraft sent into orbit by a single launch vehicle. According to the report, its flight was the result of joint efforts between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates. The satellite will be controlled from a control center located in the city of Bishkek.

It is noted that the launch of the satellite opens up new opportunities for Kyrgyzstan to use space data in various directions.

The obtained data will allow for the monitoring of agricultural lands, glaciers, water bodies, forests, and pastures, as well as tracking changes in natural ecosystems.

"Satellite data will be used to detect cases of illegal subsoil use, unauthorized landfills, and other sources of pollution, as well as to optimize logistical routes. Satellite technologies are of particular importance in monitoring and early detection of natural hazards," noted the PA of Kyrgyzstan.

The obtained data will allow for the rapid detection of signs of drought, floods, landslides, mudslides, and forest fires, creating additional opportunities for timely action and reducing potential damage.

In the future, the satellite data will be integrated with state digital systems and used to create spatial maps and analytical models.

This will create conditions for relying on objective data in making government decisions, investment planning, and monitoring the implementation of state programs.

Using satellite data in combination with the capabilities of supercomputer technologies will serve as a solid foundation for more precise and efficient management of Kyrgyzstan's economic and natural resources, the report says.
