KDB Bank denied reports about the sale of its stake in Uzbekistan

The Korea Development Bank (KDB) has made no decisions regarding the sale of its stake in JSC "KDB Bank Uzbekistan". This is stated in an official announcement published following reports in social media and news outlets about the possible exit of the Korean financial institution from the capital of its Uzbek subsidiary.

The statement notes that the Korea Development Bank periodically reviews strategic issues related to the operations of its overseas branches and subsidiary banks; however, no decisions have been made to sell the stake in "KDB Bank Uzbekistan".
