Kamil Karate will face Uzbek Tyson again – a spot in the HYPE FC final is at stake.
On September 19, Tbilisi will host the semifinal bout of the HYPE FC Grand Prix in the 70 kg weight class. Tajik fighter Kamariddin Khasanov, known as "Kamil Karate," will once again face Uzbekistan's Jasurbek Juraev, nicknamed "The Uzbek Tyson." This will be the fighters' second meeting in a year. Khasanov already defeated Juraev in February, finishing the fight with a choke.

The upcoming semifinal bout of the HYPE FC Grand Prix in the 70 kg weight class, which will take place on September 19 in Tbilisi, will pit Tajik fighter Kamariddin Khasanov, known as "Kamil Karate," against Uzbekistan's Jasurbek Juraev, nicknamed "The Uzbek Tyson."
This will be their second meeting this year. In February, Khasanov defeated Juraev with an arm-triangle choke in the second round.
The 38-year-old Khasanov boasts a professional MMA record of 9 wins, 4 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest. Three of his victories came via submission.
This time, a spot in the HYPE FC Grand Prix final is at stake. The upcoming fight will be a rematch and will give Zhuraev another opportunity to get the better of Khasanov after his February defeat.
