IT Park Uzbekistan Presented the Export Potential of the IT Sector at a Forum in Austria

IT Park Uzbekistan showcased the export capabilities of the national IT industry at the Uzbekistan–Austria Business Forum, which was attended by representatives of government agencies, investment organizations, and international companies.

One of the key topics of the meeting was the development of technological cooperation between the two countries, including the attraction of foreign IT companies, the growth of digital services exports, and the establishment of new business connections.

The forum was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, the international organization Global Neighbours, as well as the companies BrainsToVentures, ecotel communication, Tele Columbus, and GOODRAM / Wilk Elektronik. The event featured industry presentations and bilateral B2B and G2B negotiations.

Export Development Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Jahongir Kagirov presented an export-oriented development model for the IT industry and spoke about the opportunities for Uzbekistan's integration into the international technological and business services market.

During the presentation, the country's human resources and infrastructure capabilities were addressed, as well as support mechanisms for export projects and foreign companies. Forum participants were presented with the conditions for obtaining IT Park Uzbekistan resident status, tax incentives provided for residents, and the opportunities for conducting IT activities in Uzbekistan.

Special emphasis was placed on the development of bilateral cooperation: attracting Austrian companies to projects in Uzbekistan and expanding the interaction of local digital solution providers with European clients.

Participation in the forum is aimed at promoting the Uzbek IT industry in the European market, diversifying export geography, developing international contract cooperation, and attracting foreign technological partners.
