Famous Russian rapper Jigan (real name Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein) shot at security guards and servants at his home in the Moscow region. Although this incident took place in early July, it has only now become known.

According to the Mash publication, the rapper held his employees hostage for several hours — all of which happened in front of his children. It is specified that while in an altered state, armed with a "Saiga-9" carbine and dressed in Rambo style, he called the employees into the living room, accused them of crimes, and demanded they confess to everything to save their lives.

During the fit, Ustimenko-Weinstein perceived all of them as enemies, and even accused one of the security guards of pedophilia. He held a gun to the man's head, forcing him to confirm this, and upon receiving a confirmation, gave him only five seconds to try to escape. When the designated time expired, he fired, injuring the victim's arm and leg. He called the others traitors.

His children hid in a wardrobe

The ordeal lasted for 10 hours. During this time, the children of the rapper and blogger Oksana Samoylova hid in wardrobes and messaged their mother about what was happening. She was in Milan at the time but immediately flew to Moscow. Later, in a conversation with journalists, she confirmed this incident.

Sensing something suspicious, neighbors called the police, security guards, and the rapper's friends to the scene to calm Jigan down. However, the artist had no intention of coming to his senses and attacked anyone who tried to approach him.

As a result, he was detained, handcuffed, and sent to one of Israel's most expensive rehabilitation centers.

Following the armed conflict, Jigan is undergoing a three-month treatment at a VIP rehab in Israel costing 5 million rubles ($60,000). His phone is regularly checked, and he is not even allowed to go to the gym to work out alone.

During the first weeks, the patient underwent detox, taking sleeping pills and antipsychotics. Then he went into multi-profile therapy — group and individual sessions with psychiatrists. Specialists are determining the causes of his behavior.

At the same time, besides therapy, the artist occasionally attends entertainment events. These include a trip to Jerusalem and excursions along the Dead Sea. He also does sports, and a special chef prepares food for him. At his request, he also has three refrigerators full of food at his disposal.

Jigan's phone is regularly checked, and the rapper is always accompanied by someone. He is allowed to see his family every week, but they have not visited the rehabilitation center yet. It is specified that the rapper's relatives are also working with psychologists.

It turned out that Jigan could fire his employee on the very same day via SMS without explaining the reason. He often humiliated employees, swore at them, and threatened them with punishment.

During one of his fits of aggression, he fired his children's favorite nanny, writing her a message telling her not to come back. Usually, this happened when his ex-wife, Oksana Samoylova, left the house. Upon returning home, the woman could not influence the situation in any way.

Jigan and Oksana Samoylova married in December 2012. During the marriage, four children were born — Ariela, Leya, Maya, and David. During their marriage, they went through several serious crises. In particular, in 2020, Jigan was treated in a rehabilitation center, after which the spouses tried to restore their relationship.

In 2025, Samoylova filed for divorce. On April 1, 2026, the marriage was officially dissolved. The children remained with Samoylova. However, even after the divorce, Jigan continued to maintain contact with his children.

After the divorce from his wife, the situation with Jigan's behavior worsened even further. The artist was left without the control of his wife, who had previously been able to somehow restrain his behavior.
