Iran threatened to disrupt the airports of neighboring countries

If neighboring countries stop accepting Iranian aircraft due to US sanctions, their airports will be disrupted. This was announced by Mohsen Rezaee, the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

"If you ban our flights and start cooperating with the US, your airports will not be able to operate other flights. If you are on the side of the US, we will not see you again," Rezaee said.

He said US President Donald Trump might want to attack Iran's nuclear facilities or facilities located in the country's mountains.

"Our armed forces are ready for retaliatory actions," the head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council emphasized.

Currently, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan have closed their airspace to Iranian airlines. An aircraft of Iran's Varesh Airlines flying to Tajikistan was forced to return to Imam Khomeini Airport on September 24. This was because Turkmenistan did not allow it to cross its airspace.
