Iran has put forward seven conditions to the US for opening the Strait of Hormuz, the agency reported.

"Iran has conveyed seven conditions to the US through mediators to open the Strait of Hormuz, and as long as these conditions are not met, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened," said the agency's source.

He added that the agreement between Tehran and Muscat, which is to be announced on Monday, does not provide for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

"According to the agreement, entry into the Persian Gulf will pass entirely through Iranian territorial waters, while exit will partially pass through Iranian waters," the report said.

According to the source, the southern corridor of the Strait of Hormuz, which the US is demanding Iran to open, will not be opened.
