Iran offers $30,000 bounty on US soldier's head

Iran has promised a $30,000 reward for anyone who kills or captures an American soldier. This was announced by the commander of the Iranian army, Amir Khatami, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Khatami, a special plan was developed due to "numerous requests for participation in financial jihad." According to him, the Iranian army will give a reward of $30,000 or 5 billion Iranian riyals to anyone who kills or captures an American soldier. Iranian women who succeed in this task will be rewarded twice as much.
His words were quoted by Iran's state television and radio company IRIB. It is also noted that the weapons used to destroy the American soldiers will be purchased by the Iranian army at twice the market price, and the army will replace such weapons with new ones.
During his speech, Khatami said that the country's offensive and defensive capabilities have been restored. "The enemies were clearly mistaken about the capabilities of our army... Nothing can limit us in defending ourselves," he said.
Earlier, Iranian officials had offered a reward for the elimination of US President Donald Trump. On May 15, MP Ebrahim Azizi said that the proposed bill would include a reward of 50 million euros. In addition to the American politician, the document also includes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the head of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper.
