Iran has declared British military entities as terrorist organizations

Official Tehran has assessed the United Kingdom's provision of bases and logistical facilities to the US and Israel for use in military operations against Iran as a hostile policy.

Iran has declared British military structures terrorist organizations

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recognized the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force of Great Britain as terrorist organizations. This decision was made as a response to London's "hostile actions" toward Iran.

According to Press TV, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has also declared the British intelligence service — MI6 — a hostile organization.

The ministry's statement emphasized that Great Britain provided military bases and logistical facilities for the US and Israeli war against Iran.

The Iranian side assessed these steps as hostile policy by Great Britain and stated that appropriate measures were taken in response.

For reference, on March 1, 2026, Great Britain permitted the US to use British military bases for limited defensive purposes within the framework of operations against Iran. According to it, the American military may use these bases to conduct defensive strikes against Iran's missile depots and launchers.

London explained this decision by the need to protect allies in the region and prevent further missile attacks from Iran. Britain emphasized that it did not participate in the initial US-Israeli strikes, and that the permission given to use the bases pursues only limited defensive goals.

Earlier, Supreme Leader of Iran Mojtaba Khamenei instructed high-ranking commanders to "immediately and effectively respond to any potential threat from the enemy without geographical boundaries."
