In Zarbdor district of Jizzakh region, a woman was killed following a family dispute. The Prosecutor's Office informed Kun.uz that her husband was arrested as a suspect. After the incident, the husband himself called 102 to report the event. The deceased was a kindergarten director.

A woman named F., who lived in the Yangihayot neighborhood of the Zarbdor district in the Jizzakh region, became a victim of murder. She had two children.
As Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the Prosecutor General's Office, informed Kun.uz, on October 29, 2026, the Zarbdor district prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case regarding the situation under Article 97, Part 1 of the Criminal Code (intentional homicide).
The prosecutor's office confirmed that the suspect is the deceased's husband. It is reported that after the incident, he called the 102 emergency number himself and reported the event.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
