In Uzbekistan, they have started sending out SMS notifications about tax payments
Taxpayers are being sent SMS messages with the amounts of property tax and land tax. They must be paid by October 15.

In Uzbekistan, SMS notifications for tax payments have begun to be sent out.
Taxpayers in Uzbekistan have started receiving SMS messages containing information on the amounts of property tax and land tax assessed for the current year.
The deadline for their payment is set for October 15.
The message includes "More details" and "Pay" buttons. By clicking on "More details," the user can download a payment notification, which specifies the property's address, its area, cadastral value, tax rate, and the amount of tax assessed.
The document also provides the contact number of the responsible tax authority employee and other information.
The "Pay" button opens a platform with the "Soliq" mobile application. If the application is already installed on the phone, the payment can be made through the "Tax Payment" section. If the application is not installed, it can be downloaded via the opened platform.
If the data in the payment notification does not match the actual facts, citizens should contact the cadastral authorities. This applies to cases where the area of the real estate property, its cadastral value, or the area of the occupied land plot is incorrectly specified. Contacting the authorities is also required if the real estate property specified in the notification does not belong to the citizen.
The tax authorities specifically warn about the need to verify the sender of the SMS. Messages are sent on behalf of Soliq.uz, and to Perfectum subscribers from the number 6079.
SMS messages received from other numbers or addresses do not originate from the tax authorities.
