In the Namangan region, double charging for market traders has been abolished

In the Namangan region, the Business Ombudsman, together with the regional khokimiyat, protected the rights of more than 7,000 entrepreneurs by ending the practice of double charging at markets.

Conducted audits revealed that at the dehkhan markets of the region, entrepreneurs were simultaneously charged for entry and for conducting trading activities. This procedure did not comply with the requirements of current legislation and created an excessive financial burden on business representatives.

As a result of the joint measures taken, the fees for entry and trading were brought into compliance with the laws, and the illegal collection of double payments was stopped. The changes affected 38 dehkhan markets in the Namangan region. This allowed for a reduction in entrepreneurs' expenses for the placement and sale of goods, including agricultural products, and also created conditions for maintaining price stability.
