A discussion on ways to increase enterprise productivity was held in the Bukhara region.
A training seminar on improving productivity and rational resource use at industrial enterprises was held at the Bukhara State Technical University. The event was organized with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The seminar was attended by Atanas Kochov, an expert from the international consulting company Integration, and specialists from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Territorial Studies (IMTS). Participants included representatives of industrial enterprises, the Bukhara regional administration, district and city administrations, the Main Department of Economy and Finance, higher education institutions, and the media.
The seminar presented practical methods for effectively utilizing unused resources at enterprises, as well as the principles of implementing resource-efficient and environmentally friendly production (RECP).
In addition, the seminar discussed methodologies such as Lean Management and Six Sigma, as well as the ISO certification system. Following the event, an agreement was reached to implement best practices in the activities of local enterprises in real time.
