In Tashkent, drivers were given a hands-on demonstration of how seat belts work during a rollover. Video

In Tashkent, drivers were shown the effectiveness of seat belts during a rollover using a special accident simulator installed at the Tashkent bus station. Participants were invited to test the simulator firsthand to see firsthand how a seat belt can hold a person inside the vehicle during a rollover.

This demonstration is part of the "Road Safety Culture – the Key to a Safe Life" campaign, organized with the participation of the Adolat Party, the Tashkent Road Safety Department, the city association of mahallas, and the transport department.

During the test, participants sit in a vehicle secured to a special platform, which then flips over. This clearly demonstrates the critical role of a seat belt during a sudden change in the vehicle's position.

One participant shared that he had previously not always worn a seat belt on short trips. However, after completing the test, he was convinced of the vital importance of a seat belt and resolved never to neglect it again.

Similar demonstrations are planned for other regions of the country.

Earlier, it was reported that in Andijan, an undocumented driver ignored a traffic police officer's request, lost control, and rammed a roadside store.
