In Samarkand, teenagers drove a car toward a traffic police officer, insulted him, and fled

In the Ishtikhon district of the Samarkand region, college students who failed to comply with the lawful demand of a traffic police officer and insulted him have been identified.

A video circulating on social media shows several teenagers driving a Malibu-2 car on the streets of the Ishtikhon district, ignoring a traffic police officer's signal to stop, driving the car toward him, as well as insulting the officer and fleeing the scene.

They filmed the incident themselves and posted it on social media.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the violators were students of College No. 2 in the Kattakurgan district.

They had rented the car for 1.2 million soums and took the wheel without a driver's license.

This incident was critically discussed with the participation of the entrepreneur who rented out the car, the children's parents, the district khokim, and heads of law enforcement agencies.

In a video released by the press service of the Samarkand Region Traffic Safety Department, the students tearfully apologized to the traffic police officer for the insults.

Regarding the incident, relevant documents were prepared by the Ishtikhon District Department of Internal Affairs. The collected materials were sent to the prosecutor's office to make a lawful decision.
